The Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest (BAPC) is a contest in which teams from leading universities in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg are served a series of algorithmic problems/puzzles. The goal of each team is to solve the most puzzles as possible within the set time limit. Solutions need to be programmed out on a computer and can be submitted to an automated judging system, after which the solution is checked.

The contest will take place at the Gorleaus building, Einsteinweg 55 Leiden.

To Leiden by car

On the A44 between Oegstgeest and Wassenaar take the exit 8 to Leiden,
When driving on the Plesmanlaan at the first intersection go left on the Ehrenfestweg.
You can park your car on the left at the Parkeergarage Ehrenfestweg.

To Leiden by public transport

When travelling to Leiden with the public transport you have to ride the train to Leiden Centraal.

In addition to the official ICPC regional Rules, the following local rules also apply:

Team composition

A student may compete when eligible according to the official ICPC regional rules. The rules of this year is summarized in the 2026-27 ICPC Regionals Eligibility Diagram.

A team consists of 3 eligible students.
The educational institutions must be from one of the region’s member countries. By special request, teams from other countries may be allowed to participate in this region, as stated in the ICPC Regional Rules.
All teams who want to participate must be registered.

Contest Materials

We follow the World Finals’ Rules, so a team is allowed to bring 3 copies of their Team Reference Document, but not allowed to bring any additional reference materials such as books, program listings and notes! You may not bring any electronic device or machine-readable media (this includes but is not limited to cell phones, watches, digital cameras, and mp3 players). Teams are not allowed to replace the provided keyboard and mouse. You may bring pens or pencils, but not paper (these will be provided). Winter coats, bags, etc. should not be brought to the contest floor.
